Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of abilities, which included the ability to act, direct production, create plays as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was born to a British father and an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in November of 1999, in order to continue her acting career. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They became engaged in 2009, after they got married. Anna converted to Judaism in January 2011 and then they re-wed during the Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo's same sex relationship, with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as one of the top TV Couples. E! named the couple "the best TV Couple" of 2013. Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased due to the popularity of her television show.
