Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived into a musical family, 9 August 1993 in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the daughter and cousin to the singing sensation Dionne. She began singing in a choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and by the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally with their mother in Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. She continued to offer backing vocals for Jermaine Jackson, Lou Rawls and her mother, and also did a brief stint as models for the cover of Seventeen magazine in 1981. The quality of her work as the lead vocalist in New York funk group Material attracted the attention of several major record labels, including Arista, with which she was signed in 1982, and continued to work for the remainder of her life. Whitney Houston became the top-selling debut record for an artist in the year 1985. Several hit singles including the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Can I Tell You If It's Good to Love You and The Most Beautiful Love of All were released from the album setting her up for a Beatles-beating seven consecutive US numbers one. The album came out in 1987 and has sold more than 25 million copies across the globe. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney featuring the hit songs Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was her 1992 movie The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the best-selling artists in history. The film and her part in it was not well received, but the music and her interpretation of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was a hit for a few months on the charts and she sold more than 44 million albums and singles worldwide. It was also in 1993 that she was married to Bobby Brown, an ex-New Edition singer who gave the sole child of her marriage, Bobbi Kristina Brown. Her daily consumption of the drug was well-documented.

Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is employed by CNN as anchorwoman, reporter and political reporter. The anchor has also created several of the network's Saturday shows like as Evans & Novak' Late Edition as well as Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels, such as NBC and CBS. Bash received a Women in Washington Power List honor by Elle magazine.
